Exit/Emergency Light Inspections

Will your Emergency Lights work when you need them?

Service Price: $35.00 plus $5.00 for each unit inspected.

I will come to your location and provide an annual inspection according to NFPA 101 Codes and Regulations. This is an inspection providing the Exit/Emergency Lights functional condition.

All Exit/Emergency Light inspections include but are not limited to:

• Check units for damage, obstruction and illumination.
• Open unit to remove dust, debris and cob webs.
• Check battery terminals for corrosion and clean if necessary.
• Check charging circuitry to make sure its functioning properly.
• Perform battery test duration for 90 minutes as required by code.
• Clean exterior of units and if applicable adjust beams for proper alignment.

Once the inspection is completed, units passing inspection will then be certified and a testing label will be attached which is good for 1 Year. Units not passing inspection because of deficiencies will be noted and recommendations for corrective action will be assessed. This may include replacing batteries, bulbs or complete replacement of the unit if defective.
